Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve software solutions supporting business, platform, and technology capabilities.
- Deliver scalable, maintainable, optimized, and high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in peer collaboration and code reviews while promoting code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to support reliable, readable, and well-designed code.
- Advise and influence decision-making and contribute to policy development and operational effectiveness.
- Lead teams or collaborative assignments, guide team members, set objectives, and coach employees as applicable.
- Analyze complex information, communicate sensitive or difficult information, influence stakeholders, and manage risks and controls.
Requirements
- Professional knowledge and skills sufficient to deliver complex software work and influence outcomes across the business function.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and business divisions and communicate complex information effectively.
- Ability to identify risks, strengthen controls, and develop policies or procedures supporting governance.
- Ability to use software engineering methodologies, secure coding practices, and unit testing.
- Ability to lead teams or guide colleagues through structured and collaborative assignments, depending on the position structure.
