Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Splunk products and solutions for strategic accounts.
- Design, develop, and implement customized solutions aligned with customer business outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, present solutions, and demonstrate measurable value.
- Build relationships with technical champions and provide executive-level engagement and trusted-advisor support.
- Own technical proof activities to advance expansion opportunities and drive product adoption.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to support successful Splunk deployments.
- Conduct customer training sessions and workshops.
- Demonstrate Splunk products through onsite meetings, webinars, conferences, and trade shows.
- Help improve presales practices, methodologies, and processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in solutions engineering or a similar role, preferably in data analytics or IT and focused on strategic accounts.
- Proficiency with Splunk products or similar solutions, data analytics, and operational intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and security protocols.
- Domain knowledge in one or more of security operations, observability, DevOps, IT operations, big data, or log management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to customer needs.
- Ability to collaborate with sales, product development, customer support, and other multifunctional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
