Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of custom software solutions.
- Lead teams through software design, development, integration, and final delivery.
- Set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance.
- Make team decisions and provide solutions across immediate and multiple teams.
- Translate business requirements into smaller, implementable steps.
- Design and develop ETL and data solutions involving cleansing, ingestion, loading, and reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts and address technical challenges and project risks.
- Drive continuous improvement and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is stated, with the additional information requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience in Python.
- Proficiency in Python and investment banking is required.
- Continuous Python and PySpark programming experience over the last 2–3 years is required.
- Prior experience with Java or C# is required.
- Experience with Unix file operations, permissions, environment management, and data analysis is required.
- Experience with Shell scripting, Autosys, Oracle, GitLab CI/CD, Azure, ADLS, AKV, and Databricks is required or expected.
- Experience designing and developing ETL and data solutions is required.
- Experience translating business requirements into implementable steps and working in an agile SDLC model is expected.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and creating automation agents is a preferred additional qualification.
- Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
