Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms and foundation models that extract semantic meaning from complex urban edge cases and enrich the L4 data lake.
- Design and implement scalable machine learning systems, including management of upstream sensor dependencies.
- Deliver high-quality datasets through sensor data collection, processing, and auto-labeling.
- Collaborate with platform, product, and security engineering teams to deploy machine learning techniques into production.
- Identify complex edge cases and develop robust algorithmic solutions for autonomous driving data.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of working experience in the machine learning or robotics industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Preferred: autonomous driving experience and a track record deploying ML models in safety-critical physical systems.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Computer Vision, Robotics, or Machine Learning.
- Preferred: familiarity with C++ and high-performance computing.

- Base salary range of USD $171,000 to USD $190,000 per year for Sunnyvale, California-based roles.
