Base Salary
$198k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build backend systems, owning features from database design to API endpoints.
- Collaborate with Infra and SRE teams on reliability, deployment, and production health.
- Drive platform-level initiatives to enhance team efficiency and resilience.
- Own incident response and ensure follow-through on post-mortems.
- Mentor team members and tackle high-impact problems end-to-end.
Requirements
- 8+ years of production software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems.
- Strong command of Node.js, with TypeScript preferred.
- Deep expertise in relational databases and experience with analytical databases.
- Comfortable designing systems in public cloud environments.
- Experience with observability and operational readiness.
