Base Salary
$129k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build production ML components for evidence ingestion, connectors, entity resolution, graph construction, and probability modeling.
- Design, implement, test, operate, and maintain production-quality ML software.
- Own component correctness and reliability through testing, evaluation, observability, and performance metrics.
- Maintain data and model plumbing for graph accuracy, entity-resolution quality, evidence provenance, and decay.
- Prototype and evaluate AI capabilities against cybersecurity problems.
- Participate in design and code reviews and collaborate with product, security R&D, and SecOps.
- Apply AI safety, security, and guardrail practices to production systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing and delivering production software systems and converting prototypes into reliable, maintainable solutions.
- Hands-on experience building or integrating production or near-production ML- or LLM-powered applications.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, agentic workflows, model evaluation, or AI observability.
- Strong programming experience in Python and/or Java, Go, or a similar language.
- Working knowledge of cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, APIs, databases, and scalable architectures.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest or experience in cybersecurity, including vulnerability management, identity security, threat detection, or risk prioritization.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Windsurf is preferred.
- Experience with AI evaluation, safety, or guardrails is preferred.
