Base Salary
$106k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines using AWS services.
- Build and manage deployment frameworks for real-time and batch machine learning inference.
- Develop Python-based tools and services for data processing, model packaging, and ML pipeline orchestration.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure components using infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements for production ML systems.
- Integrate machine learning models into enterprise applications and data platforms with data science and engineering teams.
- Lead AI/ML FinOps practices and optimize ML infrastructure usage, scalability, and costs.
- Ensure ML systems meet enterprise security, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical standards, code reviews, testing, deployment practices, and mentorship of junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or MLOps roles.
- Strong Python programming experience for automation, services, or data processing pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, IAM, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production and maintaining automated deployment workflows.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed or cloud-based systems.
- Experience collaborating with data science, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include Docker, ECS or EKS, ML observability tools, feature stores, data/model versioning platforms, AI/ML cost optimization, FinOps, AWS certifications, regulated-industry ML operations, and scalable ML platform experience.
