Base Salary
$159k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct application security reviews.
- Threat model AWS services at enterprise scale.
- Discover and address security issues and react to new threat scenarios.
- Develop security automation and security tools.
- Provide security training, outreach, and guidance documentation to internal development teams.
- Deliver and improve security metrics.
- Perform continuous improvement and research work as needed.
- Participate in planning, process improvement, recruiting assistance, and administrative activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute security expertise across multiple organizational groups.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review in a common programming language.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating tasks with command-line tools.
- A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or at least 2 years of IT Security experience.
- Knowledge of industry security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
- At least 2 years of combined experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
- At least 2 years of enterprise-scale application threat modeling experience.
- Preferred experience with Python, Java, or C++, command-line troubleshooting and automation, and security activities across software development lifecycle phases such as security design review, threat modeling, secure code review, and security testing.
- Must be able to pass required program background checks; a security clearance is not required.
