Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, refactor systems, and optimize performance.
- Influence long-term technology strategy through evaluation of emerging tools and practices.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to internal and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed programming languages, and 3+ years of database experience.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, APIs, open source frameworks, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with Git-based version control, observability, AI coding tools, IDE copilots, technical mentorship, cross-functional engineering leadership, and establishing coding standards and design patterns.
