Responsibilities
- Architect and design high-volume, low-latency Java microservices and AI/ML integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain Java microservices, APIs, AI-driven services, and Angular-based integrations.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability across microservice and AI-integrated systems.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and guide architectural decisions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues and support critical systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI/ML engineers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders.
- Create technical specifications, API documentation, operational guides, and other engineering documentation.
- Evaluate emerging Java, microservices, AI/ML operationalization, and MLOps technologies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience focused on Java microservices, enterprise application integration, and AI/ML integration.
- Expert proficiency in Java, JDK 11+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and Maven or Gradle.
- Deep experience with microservices architectures, distributed systems, message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and API gateways.
- Experience with Spec-Driven Development using tools such as OpenAPI or Swagger.
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems, including deployment, inference, scalability, and monitoring.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift or Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, MLOps principles, and automated deployment, testing, and monitoring.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Apache Flink, Spark Streaming, Angular, micro-frontends, Kafka, MongoDB, microservices design, financial services experience, and open-source contributions.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, analytical problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
