Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Build and enhance cloud-native, microservices-based components using established architectural standards.
- Develop and integrate agentic AI and LLM-based workflows, including tool calling, prompt management, guardrails, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Participate in domain modeling, API and service design, code reviews, debugging, and architecture documentation.
- Support proof-of-concept execution and contribute to production-grade AI-enabled platforms and services.
- Improve operational stability through runbooks, monitoring, alerts, remediation, and automation.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and development tools while validating generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Identify data and system patterns to improve coding hygiene, architecture, and delivery practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Exposure to agentic development patterns, including LLM or agent workflow integration and secure enterprise usage.
- Proficiency in Python backend development with Flask, Django, or similar frameworks and service-oriented or microservices applications.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or similar front-end technologies.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, distributed systems, and web technologies.
- Experience designing and using SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Scrum or similar agile practices, version control, CI pipelines, testing, and deployments.
- Understanding of application resiliency and security concepts such as error handling, timeouts, retries, least privilege, and secrets management.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI engineering practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, growth mindset, and ability to take feedback and ask effective questions.
- Preferred experience with unit and integration testing, observability, automation, banking or financial services, WebSockets, and PySpark.
