Base Salary
$180k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own design-system components ranging from foundational elements to complex editor UI primitives with accessibility built in.
- Build pixel-perfect layouts, smooth animations, and responsive interactions across the product.
- Implement polished micro-interactions and transitions.
- Optimize rendering, bundle size, and interaction responsiveness to maintain 60fps animations.
- Solve cross-browser compatibility issues, rendering quirks, and edge cases.
- Partner with designers to translate high-fidelity mocks into production-ready components.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of frontend engineering experience with deep React expertise.
- Mastery of CSS, including flexbox, grid, animations, transforms, and browser quirks.
- Experience building complex interactive UIs such as editors, design tools, or animation-heavy applications.
- Experience optimizing React rendering, CSS performance, and animation frame rates.
- Experience building reusable, accessible, and well-documented component libraries.
- Strong attention to visual detail, including alignment, animation smoothness, spacing, loading states, error handling, and responsive behavior.
- Experience with animation libraries or visual editing tools is preferred.
