Responsibilities
- Develop modern, responsive web applications as part of a collaborative cross-functional product team.
- Build intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using React.
- Work with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional web applications.
- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, devices, and browsers.
- Use, evaluate, adapt, and validate AI-generated output for implementation, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and code review.
- Help evolve effective AI-supported software development workflows.
- Write well-tested, documented, and peer-reviewed code.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and QA to meet user and business requirements.
- Contribute to engineering practices including testing, code review, continuous improvement, and automated development and deployment.
- Support the London engineering team through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and recruitment participation.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience building modern web applications with React.
- Experience with Node.js, Express, or related backend services.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with test-driven development, pair programming, continuous integration, and automated testing and deployment.
- Experience or strong interest in AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar tools.
- Ability to use AI-augmented development tools critically and effectively while maintaining engineering and quality standards.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a positive and constructive approach to teamwork.
