Base Salary
$155k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor to DevOps and platform engineers.
- Partner with application development, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to align DevSecOps practices with business and regulatory requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native, containerized, and VM-based workloads.
- Build and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible across AWS, Azure, and OpenShift.
- Implement blue-green deployments, canary releases, feature flags, and automated rollback strategies.
- Embed security controls across the SDLC, including secure build pipelines, dependency scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance automation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, testing, and application deployments.
- Continuously improve tooling, workflows, processes, and standards to reduce manual effort and delivery time.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience using Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET.
- 3+ years of experience implementing DevSecOps security tooling such as SCA, SAST, DAST, SBOM generation, and secrets management.
- 3+ years of experience deploying and supporting containerized applications on Kubernetes; OpenShift experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure and cloud-native architectures.
- Expertise with Terraform for infrastructure as code and Ansible for configuration management.
- Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure coding, vulnerability management, and compliance automation.
- Experience with blue-green and canary deployments, feature toggles, and automated rollbacks.
- Strong automation and scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar tools.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification is a plus.
