Responsibilities
- Test beta projects and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Debug technical issues and identify potential solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, examples, and best practices for developers.
- Collaborate with engineering and internal teams on issues requiring deeper investigation.
- Identify recurring questions and problems to improve documentation, examples, and developer resources.
- Learn new technologies and build familiarity with the Roblox ecosystem.
- Clearly communicate progress, challenges, findings, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency with Roblox Studio, including core building tools, asset management, and game structure.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve common Roblox Studio, building, and development issues.
- Strong proficiency in Lua/Luau scripting and implementing advanced game mechanics.
- Expertise in areas such as 3D modeling, UI design, and other game-development disciplines.
- Typically 4+ years of active development on Roblox or similar interactive 3D platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
Benefits
- Part-time contract position.
- Hourly pay of $35.
- Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence Monday and Friday unless otherwise noted.
