Responsibilities

Build and push code in your first week and ship impactful features in your first few months.
Develop and support production services with high call rates on the back-end and rich user interfaces on the front-end.
Target high availability for consumer and enterprise customers.
Learn to build infrastructure as code (IaC).
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver delightful product offerings.
Contribute to an engineering culture emphasizing documentation, testing, and user experience.
Build compelling user experiences that highlight Grammarly's unique benefits.
Work with data to inform decision-making and optimize performance metrics.

Evaluate current systems and propose scalable architecture for the future.

At least 8 years of experience in full-stack development.
Excellent software engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
Ability to tackle infrastructure challenges when needed.
Familiarity with modern web client development and testing tools.
Experience building, deploying, and debugging production systems at scale.
Comfortable working with data to inform decision-making.
Demonstrates perseverance in facing technical issues.
