Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, validate, and observe agentic AI solutions in customer production environments.
- Develop AI agents and experiences using prompts, reasoning, tool calls, LLM techniques, and customer-system integrations.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Own technical components end-to-end, including architecture, deployment, validation, and production observability.
- Build agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
- Deliver proofs of concept and MVPs, collaborate directly with customers and partners, and share technical best practices.
- Surface platform gaps and field insights to senior engineers and product teams.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience; 6–10 years for Senior levels.
- At least one production system experience and prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Experience managing and delivering customer-facing projects in public-sector, higher-education, or nonprofit environments.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, including evaluating and improving prompts.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to deliver quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications, familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex, cloud data platform experience, and experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments are preferred.
