Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to implement projects, assess existing infrastructure, and propose improvements.
- Evaluate client requirements and contribute to technical roadmaps and solutions aligned with business goals.
- Establish controls and processes for continuous delivery and the evolution of infrastructure and applications.
- Provide cloud, platform, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering expertise internally and at client sites.
- Build relationships with client engineering leadership and propose solutions within existing policies and business requirements.
Requirements
- Contribute to the design and implementation of enterprise or web-scale hosting platforms and administer application servers, web servers, and databases.
- Understand cloud and virtualization platforms, infrastructure automation, application hosting technologies, DevOps, Agile methods, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Have knowledge of at least one IaaS cloud platform and application runtime platforms such as physical servers, virtual servers, container clusters, serverless systems, and databases.
- Write scripts in at least one scripting language and build or administer Linux servers, Windows servers, or container clusters.
- Have knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, monitoring systems, infrastructure security, secrets management, network security, and software supply-chain security.
- Bonus qualifications include experience with unit testing, automated testing, stress testing, or performance testing.
- Communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences and collaborate with infrastructure, support, network, security, systems administration, and IT management teams.
- Be a Singapore Citizen due to project requirements and client security-clearance restrictions.
