Base Salary
$40 - $51/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software components within distributed or connectivity systems.
- Build and test backend services processing vehicle telemetry and remote commands at fleet scale.
- Develop event-driven distributed systems and support vehicle, mobile-app, and cloud communication layers.
- Contribute to systems integration, test automation, and end-to-end validation of vehicle features.
- Write maintainable code in Python, Go, C++, or Java.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, debugging sessions, documentation, and progress presentations.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program at an accredited US university.
- Proficient in at least one of Python, Go, C++, or Java.
- Preferred: pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and intending to return to school after the internship.
- Preferred: exposure to distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.
- Preferred: familiarity with CAN, MQTT, or IoT concepts.
- Preferred: coursework or project experience in backend development, systems integration, or test automation.
