Responsibilities
- Develop reliable, timely systems that provide customers with insights into their Databricks environments.
- Build data infrastructure processing billions of entries daily and deploy it across more than 65 cloud regions.
- Lead observability roadmap milestones from requirements refinement through execution, operation, and iteration.
- Enable internal framework teams to publish data for customers.
- Optimize the scalability and cost of large data pipelines.
- Drive integrations with tools and services in the broader data warehousing ecosystem.
- Mentor engineers and support their technical and career growth.
- Collaborate with product, partner, internal platform, and external customer teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of production-level experience with Java, Scala, Python, C++, or a similar language.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience architecting, developing, deploying, and operating components of large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong software engineering maturity, including attention to security, correctness, engineering excellence, and operational excellence.
- Experience building platforms for other software teams and reducing adoption friction.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
