Responsibilities

  • Translate application storyboards, use cases, and business requirements into functional applications and technical requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain reliable C# applications, including backend services and client-side counterparts.
  • Coordinate with team members working across different infrastructure layers.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop solutions to improve application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Contribute to code quality, organization, automation, and all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience with .NET development tools including .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#.
  • Strong C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core knowledge, including object-oriented programming and C# concurrency patterns.
  • Experience with cloud, serverless, or distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of message queuing and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with design and architectural patterns; Domain-Driven Design and Event Sourcing are advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on small teams, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Preferred: experience with pipeline architecture; Azure API Management, Azure Serverless Functions, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Application Insights, Cosmos DB, Azure IoT, Azure DevOps, computer networking, complex regular expressions, or the 9-1-1 industry.
