Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and ship AI agents, APIs, and applications on Affirm's internal platform.
- Transform messy business requirements from People Operations into production systems.
- Navigate security and data governance infrastructure to run AI systems safely.
- Design reliability infrastructure for multi-model LLM services.
- Work with non-technical stakeholders to scope problems and make architecture decisions.
- Contribute to the team's shared Python codebase and Snowflake infrastructure.
- Diagnose and fix issues in production systems.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in software engineering with experience in production applications.
- Understanding of systems thinking and technical architecture.
- Proven ability to create systems or tools from scratch.
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical and business domains.
