Lead Software Engineer

- Own the enterprise connector catalog, integration standards, security review gates, and onboarding playbooks for MCP servers.
- Build authentication, connector monitoring, lifecycle tooling, and integrations for SaaS, databases, data pipelines, and internal services.
- Own and improve the AI Artifact Hub, knowledge ingestion pipelines, agents, skills, and automation workflows.
- Implement access controls, row-level permissions, authorization policies, and DLP enforcement for AI workflows.
- Build reliability, observability, cost tracking, circuit breakers, fallback handling, evaluation frameworks, test suites, and feedback APIs.
- Mentor junior engineers, participate in design and code reviews, guide technical decisions, and collaborate with AWS technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and 6 years of related experience, or alternative combinations including a master’s degree with 4 years, a Ph.D. with 1 year, or 18 years of related experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience designing, building, and operating production systems.
- Strong Python proficiency for APIs, data pipelines, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, IAM, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and Step Functions.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms, including OAuth 2.0 and OIDC authentication flows.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of distributed systems concepts including fault tolerance, idempotency, eventual consistency, and graceful degradation.
- Experience designing and enforcing authorization policies in multi-tenant or multi-user systems.
- Preferred experience includes AI/ML systems, RAG, knowledge retrieval, agent architectures, Amazon Bedrock, MCP, Snowflake, knowledge graphs, embeddings, vector stores, enterprise search, evaluation frameworks, FinOps, DLP, event-driven architectures, workflow engines, and internal developer platforms.
