Base Salary
$103k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, modernization, and delivery of enterprise applications and cloud-native platforms.
- Design and evolve AWS distributed systems using event-driven architectures and modern integration patterns.
- Drive large-scale transition, transformation, cloud migration, and application modernization initiatives.
- Establish architecture governance, code review, automated testing, and engineering quality practices.
- Partner with client engineering leaders, product owners, architects, developers, DevOps teams, and delivery leaders.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads while providing architectural guidance, technical direction, and delivery oversight.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and cloud infrastructure utilization.
Requirements
- Extensive experience architecting and delivering enterprise applications with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Proven experience designing and implementing AWS-based distributed systems, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Strong expertise with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture for real-time processing and system integration.
- Experience designing and optimizing MongoDB or other NoSQL database solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, system integration, and enterprise application modernization.
- Experience leading large-scale technical programs involving architectural governance, solution delivery, and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices, automated testing frameworks, and engineering quality processes.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Python experience, cloud cost optimization, observability, site reliability engineering practices, cloud migration, regulated industries, and technical mentoring are preferred.
