Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and direction to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production code.
- Drive adoption, governance, validation standards, and reuse for AI-assisted engineering practices and automation.
- Use Software Development Life Cycle tooling and approved AI-assisted capabilities to improve engineering automation at scale.
- Influence product design, application functionality, technical operations, and engineering processes.
- Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert and advocate for firmwide engineering frameworks, tools, and practices.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture centered on diversity, opportunity, and respect.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages or platforms, such as Python, Java, React, or Big Data Platforms.
- Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security, and compliant usage controls.
- Ability to solve design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Practical cloud-native experience, such as AWS.
