Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
  • Lead adoption of authorized AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Establish standards for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, security, and responsible data handling.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring issue remediation and improve application and system stability.
  • Lead architectural evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
  • Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and strong knowledge of secure, resilient delivery practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems and practical cloud-native experience.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies preferred.
