Responsibilities
- Provide technical strategy, direction, and design for complex Acxiom and client solutions.
- Configure and tune Acxiom or third-party software and develop automation, custom application code, and software extensions.
- Build, enhance, integrate, maintain, support, and optimize applications and data-processing solutions.
- Lead code reviews, unit testing, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and correction of application coding issues.
- Break implementation work into manageable tasks, coordinate multiple developers, and provide level-of-effort estimates.
- Mentor less experienced associates and contribute to solution standards, policies, procedures, best practices, and innovation initiatives.
- Respond to client and stakeholder technical issues according to case severity and priority.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with real-time solutions, AWS, coding and development, PostgreSQL, and Aurora databases.
- Knowledge of Java, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, C, C++, Ab Initio, Perl, shell scripting, XML, HTML, PHP/MySQL, AWK/SED, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to Linux/Unix operating systems, commands, and file management.
- Knowledge of relational database principles and advanced database features, including Oracle or other DBMS platforms.
- Ability to apply industry standards and best practices to solution development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A master’s degree is preferred; relevant technology certification is encouraged but not required.
