Base Salary
$90k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new solutions, enhancements, and updates for web and mobile applications.
- Contribute to the software development lifecycle through development, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and releases.
- Build user interfaces with React and server-side APIs with Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Write unit, automation, and end-to-end tests, including tests using Jest or React Testing Library.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate new ideas and solutions.
- Contribute to coding practices, code merges, and software releases.
- Use AI coding assistants for code generation, code review, and test creation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience with prior internship or coursework experience recommended.
- Understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience building React UIs using components, hooks, state, and forms.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and server-side APIs with Node.js.
- Solid SQL and relational database fundamentals, including schema design, joins, and migrations; PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Familiarity with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, REST, and GraphQL.
- Experience writing automated tests with Jest, React Testing Library, or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codex.
- Experience with Java, C#, Python, or another stack is welcomed when accompanied by demonstrated JavaScript or TypeScript work.
