Responsibilities

Develop scalable, distributed software systems and cloud-native applications.
Design, develop, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications.
Collaborate with Cloud, Data, and Platform Engineering teams on enterprise-scale solutions.
Write unit tests, automate development processes, perform code reviews, and improve code quality.
Plan and execute application modernization, re-platforming, and refactoring efforts.
Identify opportunities to improve system performance and reduce technical debt.
Provide consultation on software solutions, industry best practices, strategies, and architectures.

5–8 years of experience in software engineering and application development.
Strong programming expertise in Python.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub.
Experience with GCP Dataflow and Apache Beam.
Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure as code.
Exposure to Kubernetes and GKE.
Experience with data lake and data warehouse architecture.
Knowledge of observability and monitoring frameworks.
Experience integrating AI/ML or Generative AI solutions into applications.
Experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Harness.
Experience with Docker, containerization, and microservices-based design.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, and ownership skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models and fluency in English or relevant market languages where applicable.
