Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and help define technical approaches for GenAI and agentic AI solutions.
- Design and develop LLM-based applications, AI assistants, RAG pipelines, prompts, structured outputs, and agent workflows.
- Integrate LLM APIs with enterprise systems, APIs, files, databases, vector databases, and knowledge sources.
- Implement tool use, function calling, workflow orchestration, access controls, audit logging, guardrails, and secure data handling.
- Test prompts, RAG responses, agent workflows, tool calls, APIs, and assigned components, and resolve defects through UAT.
- Optimize retrieval, chunking, metadata filtering, context usage, model calls, latency, token usage, retries, timeouts, and caching.
- Support deployment across development, test, UAT, and production environments, including release validation and rollback activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving AI responses, APIs, retrieval, agents, latency, and model failures, and provide RCA inputs.
- Prepare technical documentation, test evidence, support notes, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Collaborate with architects, senior developers, QA, business analysts, DevOps teams, and delivery teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in AI development, GenAI application development, or related hands-on AI project work; the posting states flexibility for strong AI project experience.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI application development, agentic AI concepts and implementation, prompt engineering, RAG, LLM API integration, Python, REST API development and integration, SQL, and basic data handling.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, Git-based development, testing, deployment, production support, and enterprise data integration.
- Experience with chatbot, RAG, LLM, AI agent, or automation use cases is preferred.
- Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, AWS Bedrock, FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, Docker, cloud platforms, LLM evaluation, observability, responsible AI, and governance is desirable.
- Bachelor-level qualification such as BE, BTech, MCA, MSc, BSc, or BCA, or equivalent practical experience.
- AI, GenAI, cloud, or Python certification is good to have.
- Strong communication, learning, ownership, problem-solving, collaboration, documentation, curiosity, and delivery focus are expected.
