Base Salary
$120k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality applications.
- Lead feature implementation and own end-to-end delivery from concept through deployment.
- Design scalable and maintainable solutions for complex business problems.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Contribute to system architecture, performance, scalability, and security.
- Review code, mentor teammates, and share engineering best practices.
- Triage and resolve software defects while improving application quality and user experience.
- Participate in software development planning, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Drive technical excellence while adapting to evolving development trends and business priorities.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience delivering high-quality software.
- Experience building APIs, backend systems, frontends, and application architecture.
- Deep technical expertise in one or more programming languages.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and software engineering best practices.
- Experience navigating ambiguous and evolving requirements with strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ownership and a startup mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within an agile team.
- Preferred experience in fintech or startup environments.
- Preferred familiarity with modern web application technologies, external data integrations, data visualizations, Node.js, React, Next.js, Postgres, and AWS services.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, AI/ML solutions, and mobile development.
