Responsibilities
- Serve as a foundational engineer for the Dashboard and its backend infrastructure
- Design, build, and scale reliable, high-performance web applications using Python and Django
- Develop user-facing frontend features with React
- Own projects end to end from technical design and implementation through rollout and iteration
- Influence architectural decisions, engineering standards, and team best practices
- Balance delivery speed and quality while optimizing for long-term maintainability
- Collaborate with Marketing, Design, and Engineering partners
Requirements
- Strong track record of building, shipping, and maintaining production web applications
- Deep experience with Python and Django and modern frontend frameworks such as React
- Familiarity with NodeJS, Go, Ruby, or other server-side languages is welcome
- Ownership mindset with the ability to carry projects through completion
- Commitment to clean, documented, testable, and readable code
- Ability to collaborate across Design, Marketing, and Engineering
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Go, Kafka, GCP, or AWS is a bonus
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a bonus
- Passion for 3D printing and emerging technologies is a bonus
- Experience in a fast-growing startup environment is a bonus
