Base Salary
$100k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Create and execute functional, regression, end-to-end, and performance test cases.
- Develop automated test scripts and conduct performance testing to identify application bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain test coverage, traceability, and documentation while identifying, tracking, and reporting defects.
- Improve QA processes and provide detailed defect analysis and recommendations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software test engineering experience covering automation, functional, and performance testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, TypeScript, Playwright, or TestNG.
- Experience designing and implementing custom automation frameworks from scratch.
- Expertise with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6.
- Proficiency in API testing with Postman, Bruno, REST Assured, and GraphQL.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience creating SQL or PostgreSQL queries and using test management tools such as Azure or Jira.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Preferred qualifications include financial-domain experience, exposure to security testing methodologies, and ISTQB or another relevant certification.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
