Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and implementation of application systems.
- Monitor and control analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user and operational support activities.
- Analyze complex application-development problems and evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and ensure successful system design and functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Define operating standards and processes and serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
- Assess risk, support regulatory and policy compliance, and escalate and report control issues transparently.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant software development experience and 4 years of systems analysis and software application programming experience.
- At least 3 years of applications-development experience and 3 years of hands-on server-side Java, including Java 8 and concurrent programming.
- At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, and CSS.
- Strong experience with Oracle and/or MongoDB databases and creating SQL queries.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and/or test-driven development environments.
- In-depth knowledge of modern application architecture, including Spring Boot, event-driven services, and cloud-native application development.
- Practical experience with Web API, Kafka, and Git; IBM WebSphere experience is a plus.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects and serving as a subject-matter expert in at least one applications-development area.
- Data modeling and data architecture experience is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.

- Salary range of $96,960.00 to $145,440.00, excluding potential incentive and retention awards.
