Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code for Cloud Spanner infrastructure.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update technical documentation and educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience in C++, or one year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- Experience designing and developing distributed databases or storage systems.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, software test engineering, high availability and disaster recovery, and database internals and performance tuning.
Benefits
- US base salary of $147000-$210000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
