Base Salary
$155k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement AWS cloud standards for infrastructure, networking, and software components.
- Support new technologies to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for IaC environments.
- Maintain automation and deployment processes to enhance developer experience.
- Support pattern libraries for IaC to facilitate developer environment setup.
- Monitor and log solutions to ensure platform performance.
- Contribute to developer training and documentation.
- Promote a culture of reliability and best practices.
- Troubleshoot AWS issues related to security, performance, and scalability.
- Participate in on-call rotation for internal developer services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in AWS Cloud Services or developer tooling.
- Experience with specific AWS technologies and distributed systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like GitLab and GitHub.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash languages.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Experience with containerized workloads in ECS, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
- Strong communication skills for code reviews and task documentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- At least one associate-level AWS certification or willingness to obtain one.
