Cloud Engineer(Contract)
TELUS DigitalResponsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, performant, resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build, operate, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized solutions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Define and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Manage data integration and ETL workflows across cloud and hybrid platforms.
- Implement cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and TELUS security standards.
- Set up and maintain observability and monitoring using Grafana and Prometheus.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience designing and architecting cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices architecture.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes across multiple platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and TELUS security standards.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
