Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage infrastructure that enables the engineering team to ship quickly and effectively.
  • Identify and eliminate DevOps bottlenecks to improve developer velocity.
  • Maintain Tempo chain reliability, validator infrastructure, and explorer reliability.
  • Improve the core developer experience for Tempo engineers.
  • Help onboard enterprise customers into crypto and educate them on running validators.
  • Work on high-performance infrastructure for a layer-1 blockchain.

Requirements

  • Proven experience maintaining and scaling bare-metal servers and cloud environments for production systems.
  • Proficiency building tooling and scripts with Rust, Go, or Python.
  • Deep expertise deploying Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
  • Skill deploying monitoring, alerting, and observability systems such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Ability to secure and harden systems and troubleshoot issues with engineers.
  • Knowledge of Linux and networking, including troubleshooting on Linux systems.
