Responsibilities
- Implement and manage infrastructure that enables the engineering team to ship quickly and effectively.
- Identify and eliminate DevOps bottlenecks to improve developer velocity.
- Maintain Tempo chain reliability, validator infrastructure, and explorer reliability.
- Improve the core developer experience for Tempo engineers.
- Help onboard enterprise customers into crypto and educate them on running validators.
- Work on high-performance infrastructure for a layer-1 blockchain.
Requirements
- Proven experience maintaining and scaling bare-metal servers and cloud environments for production systems.
- Proficiency building tooling and scripts with Rust, Go, or Python.
- Deep expertise deploying Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Skill deploying monitoring, alerting, and observability systems such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Ability to secure and harden systems and troubleshoot issues with engineers.
- Knowledge of Linux and networking, including troubleshooting on Linux systems.
