Responsibilities
- Support multiple open-source software projects in the data science and AI domain.
- Manage hardware and contribute to team purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with build engineers, developers, and management to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Develop and modernize RAPIDS packages, including Python wheels.
- Design and maintain container build processes.
- Implement DevOps best practices with engineering teams.
- Execute DevOps initiatives involving CI/CD, observability, security and legal compliance, and system administration.
- Operate and maintain infrastructure and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of technical experience primarily related to DevOps.
- Programming and automation experience with scripting languages, preferably Bash and Python.
- Experience building and publishing Conda and/or PyPI packages.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker, especially building and publishing containers.
- Experience administering, optimizing, and troubleshooting CI/CD and related tools, including Jenkins, Git, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure, particularly permissions, budgeting, and cost management.
- Linux system administration experience, with Ubuntu strongly preferred.
- Experience in software development, build engineering, or related DevOps work is preferred.
- Experience with NVIDIA’s technology stack, including the CUDA toolkit and drivers, is preferred.
- Experience with GitHub user, repository, organization management, and permissions is preferred.
- Prior open-source development and GitHub community-building experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
