Responsibilities

  • Design and develop autonomous AI agents for multi-step reasoning, planning, tool execution, and complex manufacturing workflows.
  • Implement agentic frameworks that orchestrate LLM interactions with internal APIs, databases, and software tools.
  • Build agent evaluation harnesses to measure accuracy, reliability, and task success across multi-step workflows.
  • Profile agent and inference workloads and resolve compute, latency, and performance bottlenecks using observability and profiling tools.
  • Implement interoperable multi-agent systems using the Agent-to-Agent protocol and Model Context Protocol, including tools, plugins, and skills.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying AI agents to Kubernetes and containerized cloud environments.
  • Design security controls for autonomous agents, including sandboxing, access control, prompt-injection mitigation, and tool-misuse prevention.
  • Mentor engineers on agentic system design and optimization techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field; a Ph.D. is a plus.
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience spanning large-scale data or machine-learning pipelines and/or production Agentic AI systems.
  • Experience optimizing inference engines such as vLLM and TensorRT-LLM for autonomous AI agent and LLM workloads.
  • Experience developing Generative AI applications and AI agents with agent frameworks; Microsoft Agent Framework or Google Agent Development Kit is preferred.
  • Proficiency with LLMs, prompt engineering, function calling, tool use, and Chain-of-Thought reasoning.
  • Experience designing and implementing RAG pipelines involving document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, and vector search.
  • Experience building and operating systems for testing, evaluating, and deploying autonomous AI agents.
  • Familiarity with MCP tools, plugins, skills, and the A2A protocol.
  • Understanding of AI agent security practices, including sandboxing, access control, and mitigation of prompt injection and tool misuse.
  • Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
  • Strong scripting, programming, software development, and cloud-environment skills.
  • Experience with Kubernetes for orchestrating, deploying, and scaling containerized AI agent workloads.
  • Preferred experience with multi-agent systems, agent swarms, agent profiling and evaluation tooling, LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Rust is preferred.
  • Experience transforming data science prototypes into production solutions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer vision and/or signal processing, including classification and feature extraction, is preferred.
