Base Salary

$140k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Salesforce objects, flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards for GTM teams.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce CPQ and billing workflows with clean handoffs across Sales, Finance, and post-sale teams.
  • Serve as the primary Salesforce builder for Sales, Tech Partnerships, Customer Experience, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Extend Clay into new use cases, dogfood new features, and evangelize Clay infrastructure and GTM Engineering practices.
  • Engineer Clay’s internal instance for scale and reliability while helping develop the GTM Engineering discipline.
  • Design observability, debugging, and operating principles to support high system uptime.
  • Partner with GTM leaders and frontline teams to understand and improve revenue processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and redesign workflows using improved systems design and AI.
  • Build validation, governance, and structure to ensure GTM data quality.
  • Connect Salesforce to adjacent systems through APIs, webhooks, and automation layers.
  • Document systems and workflows so others can understand, trust, and extend them.

Requirements

  • At least 6–10 years of experience across Technical RevOps, GTM Engineering, site reliability engineering, or a similar applied technical discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in RevOps, Sales Ops, GTM Engineering, or equivalent work.
  • Hands-on programming and problem-solving experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, SOQL, or TypeScript.
  • Experience partnering with data engineering on core pipelines and working with data warehouses, BI tools, or event-driven systems.
  • Experience building, developing, or connecting Salesforce and adjacent GTM systems, including customer-success tools such as Gainsight, Vitally, or ChurnZero.
  • Deep hands-on Salesforce experience with Flow, custom objects, validation rules, triggers, reports, CPQ, and billing workflows.
  • Strong hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, and cross-system workflow design.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fluid, hypergrowth environments and drive change.
  • Experience building in Clay as a primary workflow or enrichment layer is highly preferred but not required.
  • Experience in analytics engineering, data science, or additional programming languages is a bonus.
  • Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or CPQ Specialist certification and software or infrastructure engineering experience are bonuses.
