Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and operate scalable network infrastructure solutions for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Develop network automation services for incident auto-remediation, device upgrades, safe configuration changes, and seamless capacity expansion.
- Build distributed systems that manage thousands of network devices.
- Apply strong software engineering, networking, and distributed-systems practices.
- Participate in an engineer on-call rotation and manage multiple projects and priorities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in network and software development.
- Proficiency with Python or a similar programming language.
- Experience with Linux and network technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, RSVP-TE, EVPN, and VxLAN.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with cloud networking, service-oriented systems, REST, network automation, device management, or network support.
- Experience in large enterprise, ISP, or cloud provider environments is preferred.
- Experience with network modeling and programming technologies including YANG, OpenConfig, and NETCONF is preferred.
- Experience with Jira and Git is preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, high-performance computing, and GPU systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational, verbal, written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
