Responsibilities
- Build production services and APIs in Python using FastAPI or a comparable framework.
- Build corresponding UI features using Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.
- Implement features from designs established by senior engineers, team leads, or the manager.
- Build and integrate features using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and EKS.
- Support Anthropic Claude API and Model Context Protocol integrations.
- Contribute to AI governance capabilities covering explainability, observability, and prevention.
- Write tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain clean, reliable code.
- Estimate work and identify risks, dependencies, and scope concerns early.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of solid engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience shipping production code.
- Hands-on daily experience with an AI coding tool such as Claude Code, AWS Kiro, OpenAI Codex, or a comparable tool.
- Working proficiency in Python and Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework, including familiarity with FastAPI or a comparable Python web framework.
- Basic relational database experience, such as PostgreSQL.
- Basic familiarity with AWS compute and serverless services.
- Preferred exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or a comparable agentic framework.
- Baseline AI literacy, including evaluating AI outputs and using AI responsibly.
- Preferred direct exposure to LLM-backed products, APIs, or GenAI platform features.
- Preferred interest in agentic frameworks, AI governance patterns, and cloud-native GenAI delivery.
- Preferred familiarity with testing discipline and collaborative engineering practices.
