Responsibilities
- Build and manage distributed workflows using AWS Step Functions.
- Develop serverless applications and integrations using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and EventBridge.
- Design scalable, event-driven architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
- Integrate workflow solutions with backend systems and external APIs.
- Participate in architecture discussions and define technical solutions.
- Maintain code quality through testing, best practices, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- Support cloud deployment and CI/CD processes.
Requirements
- Strong AWS development experience and hands-on experience with AWS Step Functions.
- Experience with EventBridge, SNS, and SQS.
- Understanding of event-driven and serverless architectures.
- Strong backend development skills, preferably with Java or similar JVM-based languages.
- Experience building and integrating APIs and microservices.
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver production-quality code.
- Experience migrating workflow or orchestration platforms such as Camunda to AWS Step Functions is a nice-to-have.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for serverless workflows is a nice-to-have.
