Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, debug, and troubleshoot secure software components and solutions.
- Write high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when developing solutions.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle tools, automation capabilities, and technical troubleshooting to improve delivery and system stability.
- Contribute to an inclusive, diverse, respectful, and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 2 years of applied experience.
- Experience building applications with Java, React, and AWS.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Ability to code in one or more programming languages and experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to CI/CD, application resiliency, security, agile methodologies, cloud technologies, or related technical disciplines.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred.
