Base Salary
$112k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant technical designs that follow architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and improve operations and software reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Provide architectural direction for Hogan systems processing and Hogan Release System work.
- Design, build, test, debug, and document system software and hardware solutions.
- Provide technical consulting and define specifications for complex operating system software and hardware.
- Work nonstandard hours and workdays as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five to six years of relevant experience.
- Ability to provide technical architectural direction for Hogan systems processing and Hogan Release System.
- Strong IMS DB and CICS skills, plus experience with IBM Utilities and BMC utilities.
- Knowledge of GitLab, Java, Groovy, and Python.
- Ability to design, build, test, debug, and document system software and hardware solutions.
- Ability to provide technical consulting on complex projects and define specifications for complex operating system software and hardware.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
