Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions.
- Lead teams through the design and delivery lifecycle.
- Establish and enforce development standards for consistency and quality.
- Ensure software code quality, scalability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
- Design scalable and maintainable data models for complex business requirements.
- Analyze and optimize data structures for performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate data models into custom software solutions.
- Apply data governance and metadata management best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies is required.
- Strong expertise in designing scalable and maintainable data models.
- Ability to analyze and optimize data structures for performance and efficiency.
- Experience collaborating with software engineering teams to integrate data models into custom software solutions.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Knowledge of Data Architecture Principles and Capital Markets Research is preferred.
- Familiarity with data governance and metadata management best practices is preferred.
