Responsibilities
- Own and deliver full-stack workstreams as the platform migration progresses.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for the re-architected platform.
- Maintain and extend the legacy platform while parity is built on the new stack.
- Work across portfolios, alerts, ratings tools, and sector-specific applications.
- Contribute to migrating from MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL and deprecating Solr.
- Participate in technical design discussions and translate requirements into engineering tasks.
- Surface blockers, risks, and dependencies before they affect delivery.
- Support code quality through reviews and informal knowledge-sharing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience delivering production software applications.
- Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, with PostgreSQL preferred and SQL Server useful.
- Ability to work across legacy and modern technology stacks in parallel.
- An architectural mindset and ability to reason about systems holistically.
- Strong analytical skills for working with complex, interconnected financial data.
- AWS experience, ideally including Lambda and serverless patterns.
- Proficiency with GenAI coding tools in everyday development workflows.
- Ability to work independently, own workstreams, and identify when to seek help.
- Experience with search platforms such as Solr is highly preferred.
- .NET or other legacy-platform experience is a bonus.
