Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional technology teams delivering software and technology initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and delivery support to team members.
- Translate stakeholder business requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Apply software architecture, design patterns, cloud infrastructure, database management, and data-structure knowledge to solution design.
- Drive project delivery while monitoring risks, dependencies, resources, and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
- Evaluate technologies and recommend adoption based on business and technical requirements.
- Implement process improvements to increase delivery efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness.
- Manage vendor relationships, establish performance expectations, and negotiate contracts when required.
- Promote Agile practices, project management processes, stakeholder communication, and efficient use of technology resources.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in technology leadership and software development.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with equivalent relevant education and professional experience considered.
- Experience with software architecture, design patterns, cloud computing platforms and infrastructure, database management systems, Agile methodologies, and project management tools.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and leading cross-functional technology teams.
- Experience delivering Java and React-based solutions, including integrating Java backend services with React applications.
- Experience developing technology roadmaps, evaluating new technologies, managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and implementing process improvements.
- Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases, cloud-based application development, scalability, availability, security, data protection, and infrastructure security.
- Preferred certifications include cloud computing, Java, React, Agile delivery, project management, or related technology areas.
