Responsibilities
- Create and amend technical designs and develop product features through hands-on source-code implementation.
- Lead end-to-end product or project delivery across agentic AI, full-stack engineering, data, DevOps, platforms, APIs, integrations, and AI models.
- Review architecture and code, challenge technology-stack and API choices, and optimize solutions for efficiency and time to market.
- Map functional specifications to product features and ensure coverage and implementation accuracy.
- Perform techno-functional QA and automate testing using appropriate tools such as Excel/VBA or Python.
- Partner with architects and application teams to deliver secure solutions and provide support across sprints, testing, and hypercare.
- Coach and mentor developers, technical architects, junior technical architects, and testers.
- Lead a developer sub-competency or practice and contribute to client-facing market initiatives, hackathons, idea-thons, and white papers.
Requirements
- 14+ years of technical source-code development experience combining design leadership, hands-on development, and overall technical leadership.
- Experience in at least two compliance areas, including KYC platforms, Anti-Money Laundering, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, fraud analysis, or trade surveillance.
- Experience developing agentic AI solutions using RAGs, vector databases, LangChain, LangGraph, Langfuse, third-party LLM integrations, prompt engineering, traditional machine learning, or deep learning.
- Experience with graph databases, microservices, event-driven architectures, distributed computing, and large-scale multi-tenant systems.
- Strong backend development experience with Python, API creation using Django or FastAPI, microservices, data integration, and data structures and algorithms.
- Working knowledge of deploying applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and using Git.
- Experience with Python-driven machine learning model implementation and AI model operations.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include SAS AML, Actimize, Feedzai, Fenergo, Mantas, Angular, React, Node.js, MEAN or MERN, Power BI, TOGAF or equivalent, and cloud, AI, or ML certifications.
- Ability to lead developers, coach technical teams, communicate with clients, and deliver market-oriented technical solutions.
